The panel ventured into a multitude of topics which include: Labog's experience in the stunt community, the current climate surrounding female strength, and the importance of finding strength within yourself. Carmichael Simon instructed enthusiastic participants as they explored the intricate and rhythmic movements of Tricking, a modern Martial Arts Dance form.
Tricking is a training discipline that combines kicks with flips and twists from gymnastics as well as many dance moves and styles from breakdancing. It aims to achieve an aesthetic display of different combinations of "tricks". This seminar was in accordance with the screening of Simon's documentary: Tricking: The Freedom of Movement |
